| 3. | and will make an offering by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill offering, or in your set feasts, to make a pleasant aroma to Yahweh, of the herd, or of the flock; | And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock: |
ועשיתם אשה ליהוה עלה או־זבח לפלא־נדר או בנדבה או במעדיכם לעשות ריח ניחח ליהוה מן־הבקר או מן־הצאן׃ |

וכי־תעשה בן־בקר עלה או־זבח לפלא־נדר או־שלמים ליהוה׃ |
VKY-Th'yShH BN-BQUr 'yLH 'aV-ZBCh LPhL'a-NDUr 'aV-ShLMYM LYHVH. | `And when thou makest a son of the herd a burnt-offering or a sacrifice, at separating a vow or peace-offerings to Jehovah, | quando vero de bubus feceris holocaustum aut hostiam ut impleas votum vel pacificas victimas | |||||

| 35. | Yahweh said to Moses, "The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp." | And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. |
ויאמר יהוה אל־משה מות יומת האיש רגום אתו באבנים כל־העדה מחוץ למחנה׃ |
VY'aMUr YHVH 'aL-MShH MVTh YVMTh H'aYSh UrGVM 'aThV B'aBNYM KL-H'yDH MChVTSh LMChNH. | And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `The man is certainly put to death, all the company stoning him with stones, at the outside of the camp.` | dixitque Dominus ad Mosen morte moriatur homo iste obruat eum lapidibus omnis turba extra castra | |||||
| 36. | All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones; as Yahweh commanded Moses. | And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses. |
ויציאו אתו כל־העדה אל־מחוץ למחנה וירגמו אתו באבנים וימת כאשר צוה יהוה את־משה׃ |
VYTShY'aV 'aThV KL-H'yDH 'aL-MChVTSh LMChNH VYUrGMV 'aThV B'aBNYM VYMTh K'aShUr TShVH YHVH 'aTh-MShH. | And all the company bring him out unto the outside of the camp, and stone him with stones, and he dieth, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses. | cumque eduxissent eum foras obruerunt lapidibus et mortuus est sicut praeceperat Dominus | |||||
| 37. | Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, | And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, |

| 38. | "Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them that they should make themselves fringes{or, tassels (Hebrew tzitzit)} in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe{or, tassel} of each border a cord of blue: | Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: |
דבר אל־בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם ועשו להם ציצת על־כנפי בגדיהם לדרתם ונתנו על־ציצת הכנף פתיל תכלת׃ |
DBUr 'aL-BNY YShUr'aL V'aMUrTh 'aLHM V'yShV LHM TShYTShTh 'yL-KNPhY BGDYHM LDUrThM VNThNV 'yL-TShYTShTh HKNPh PhThYL ThKLTh. | `Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, and they have made for themselves fringes on the skirts of their garments, to their generations, and they have put on the fringe of the skirt a ribbon of blue, | loquere filiis Israhel et dices ad eos ut faciant sibi fimbrias per angulos palliorum ponentes in eis vittas hyacinthinas | |||||
| 39. | and it shall be to you for a fringe{or, tassel}, that you may look on it, and remember all the commandments of Yahweh, and do them; and that you not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute; | And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: |
והיה לכם לציצת וראיתם אתו וזכרתם את־כל־מצות יהוה ועשיתם אתם ולא־תתורו אחרי לבבכם ואחרי עיניכם אשר־אתם זנים אחריהם׃ |
VHYH LKM LTShYTShTh VUr'aYThM 'aThV VZKUrThM 'aTh-KL-MTShVTh YHVH V'yShYThM 'aThM VL'a-ThThVUrV 'aChUrY LBBKM V'aChUrY 'yYNYKM 'aShUr-'aThM ZNYM 'aChUrYHM. | and it hath been to you for a fringe, and ye have seen it, and have remembered all the commands of Jehovah, and have done them, and ye search not after your heart, and after your eyes, after which ye are going a-whoring; | quas cum viderint recordentur omnium mandatorum Domini nec sequantur cogitationes suas et oculos per res varias fornicantes | |||||
