1.    Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.     Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.     τη ελευθερια  ημας χριστοσ ηλευθερωσεν στηκετε ουν και μη παλιν ζυγω δουλειας ενεχεσθε     In the freedom, then, with which Christ did make you free -- stand ye, and be not held fast again by a yoke of servitude;     state et nolite iterum iugo servitutis contineri

2.    Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.     Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.     ιδε εγω παυλος λεγω υμιν οτι εαν περιτεμνησθε χριστος υμας ουδεν ωφελησει     lo, I Paul do say to you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing;     ecce ego Paulus dico vobis quoniam si circumcidamini Christus vobis nihil proderit

3.    Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.     For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.     μαρτυρομαι δε παλιν παντι ανθρωπω περιτεμνομενω οτι οφειλετης εστιν ολον τον νομον ποιησαι     and I testify again to every man circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law;     testificor autem rursum omni homini circumcidenti se quoniam debitor est universae legis faciendae

4.    You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.     Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.     κατηργηθητε απο χριστου οιτινες εν νομω δικαιουσθε της χαριτος εξεπεσατε     ye were freed from the Christ, ye who in law are declared righteous; from the grace ye fell away;     evacuati estis a Christo qui in lege iustificamini a gratia excidistis

5.    For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.     For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.     ημεις γαρ πνευματι εκ πιστεως ελπιδα δικαιοσυνης απεκδεχομεθα     for we by the Spirit, by faith, a hope of righteousness do wait for,     nos enim spiritu ex fide spem iustitiae expectamus

6.    For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.     For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.     εν γαρ χριστω ιησου ουτε περιτομη τι ισχυει ουτε ακροβυστια αλλα πιστις δι αγαπης ενεργουμενη     for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith through love working.     nam in Christo Iesu neque circumcisio aliquid valet neque praeputium sed fides quae per caritatem operatur

7.    You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?     Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?     ετρεχετε καλως τις υμας ενεκοψεν [τη] αληθεια μη πειθεσθαι     Ye were running well; who did hinder you -- not to obey the truth?     currebatis bene quis vos inpedivit veritati non oboedire

8.    This persuasion is not from him who calls you.     This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.     η πεισμονη ουκ εκ του καλουντος υμας     the obedience is not of him who is calling you!     persuasio non est ex eo qui vocat vos

9.    A little yeast grows through the whole lump.     A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.     μικρα ζυμη ολον το φυραμα ζυμοι     a little leaven the whole lump doth leaven;     modicum fermentum totam massam corrumpit

10.    I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.     I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.     εγω πεποιθα εις υμας εν κυριω οτι ουδεν αλλο φρονησετε ο δε ταρασσων υμας βαστασει το κριμα οστις εαν η     I have confidence in regard to you in the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded; and he who is troubling you shall bear the judgment, whoever he may be.     ego confido in vobis in Domino quod nihil aliud sapietis qui autem conturbat vos portabit iudicium quicumque est ille

11.    But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.     And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.     εγω δε αδελφοι ει περιτομην ετι κηρυσσω τι ετι διωκομαι αρα κατηργηται το σκανδαλον του σταυρου     And I, brethren, if uncircumcision I yet preach, why yet am I persecuted? then hath the stumbling-block of the cross been done away;     ego autem fratres si circumcisionem adhuc praedico quid adhuc persecutionem patior ergo evacuatum est scandalum crucis

12.    I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.     I would they were even cut off which trouble you.     οφελον και αποκοψονται οι αναστατουντες υμας     O that even they would cut themselves off who are unsettling you!     utinam et abscidantur qui vos conturbant

13.    For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.     For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.     υμεις γαρ επ ελευθερια εκληθητε αδελφοι μονον μη την ελευθεριαν εις αφορμην τη σαρκι αλλα δια της αγαπης δουλευετε αλληλοις     For ye -- to freedom ye were called, brethren, only not the freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through the love serve ye one another,     vos enim in libertatem vocati estis fratres tantum ne libertatem in occasionem detis carnis sed per caritatem servite invicem

14.    For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}     For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.     ο γαρ πας νομος εν ενι λογω πεπληρωται εν τω αγαπησεις τον πλησιον σου ως σεαυτον     for all the law in one word is fulfilled -- in this: `Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself;`     omnis enim lex in uno sermone impletur diliges proximum tuum sicut te ipsum

15.    But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another.     But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.     ει δε αλληλους δακνετε και κατεσθιετε βλεπετε μη υπ αλληλων αναλωθητε     and if one another ye do bite and devour, see -- that ye may not by one another be consumed.     quod si invicem mordetis et comeditis videte ne ab invicem consumamini

16.    But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh.     This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.     λεγω δε πνευματι περιπατειτε και επιθυμιαν σαρκος ου μη τελεσητε     And I say: In the Spirit walk ye, and the desire of the flesh ye may not complete;     dico autem spiritu ambulate et desiderium carnis non perficietis

17.    For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.     For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.     η γαρ σαρξ επιθυμει κατα του πνευματος το δε πνευμα κατα της σαρκος ταυτα γαρ  αλληλοις αντικειται ινα μη α εαν θελητε ταυτα ποιητε     for the flesh doth desire contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed one to another, that the things that ye may will -- these ye may not do;     caro enim concupiscit adversus spiritum spiritus autem adversus carnem haec enim invicem adversantur ut non quaecumque vultis illa faciatis

18.    But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.     But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.     ει δε πνευματι αγεσθε ουκ εστε υπο νομον     and if by the Spirit ye are led, ye are not under law.     quod si spiritu ducimini non estis sub lege

19.    Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,     Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,     φανερα δε εστιν τα εργα της σαρκος ατινα εστιν πορνεια ακαθαρσια ασελγεια     And manifest also are the works of the flesh, which are: Adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, lasciviousness,     manifesta autem sunt opera carnis quae sunt fornicatio inmunditia luxuria

20.    idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,     Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,     ειδωλολατρια φαρμακεια εχθραι ερισ ζηλοσ θυμοι εριθειαι διχοστασιαι αιρεσεις     idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strifes, emulations, wraths, rivalries, dissensions, sects,     idolorum servitus veneficia inimicitiae contentiones aemulationes irae rixae dissensiones sectae

21.    envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.     Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.     φθονοι μεθαι κωμοι και τα ομοια τουτοις α προλεγω υμιν καθως προειπον οτι οι τα τοιαυτα πρασσοντες βασιλειαν θεου ου κληρονομησουσιν     envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revellings, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things the reign of God shall not inherit.     invidiae homicidia ebrietates comesationes et his similia quae praedico vobis sicut praedixi quoniam qui talia agunt regnum Dei non consequentur

22.    But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness}     But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,     ο δε καρπος του πνευματος εστιν αγαπη χαρα ειρηνη μακροθυμια χρηστοτης αγαθωσυνη πιστις     And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,     fructus autem Spiritus est caritas gaudium pax longanimitas bonitas benignitas

23.    gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.     Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.     πραυτησ εγκρατεια κατα των τοιουτων ουκ εστιν νομος     meekness, temperance: against such there is no law;     fides modestia continentia adversus huiusmodi non est lex

24.    Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.     And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.     οι δε του χριστου [ιησου] την σαρκα εσταυρωσαν συν τοις παθημασιν και ταις επιθυμιαις     and those who are Christ`s, the flesh did crucify with the affections, and the desires;     qui autem sunt Christi carnem crucifixerunt cum vitiis et concupiscentiis

25.    If we live by the Spirit, let's also walk by the Spirit.     If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.     ει ζωμεν πνευματι πνευματι και στοιχωμεν     if we may live in the Spirit, in the Spirit also we may walk;     si vivimus spiritu spiritu et ambulemus

26.    Let's not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.     Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.     μη γινωμεθα κενοδοξοι αλληλους προκαλουμενοι αλληλοις φθονουντες     let us not become vain-glorious -- one another provoking, one another envying!     non efficiamur inanis gloriae cupidi invicem provocantes invicem invidentes
