3.  *     He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of ((Allah)) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw?     He created seven universes in layers. You do not see any imperfection in the creation by the Most Gracious. Keep looking; do you see any flaw?

5.  *     And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.     We adorned the lowest universe with lamps, and guarded its borders with projectiles against the devils; we prepared for them a retribution in Hell.

6.  *     For those who reject their Lord (and Cherisher) is the Penalty of Hell: and evil is (such), Destination.     For those who disbelieved in their Lord, the retribution of Gehenna. What a miserable destiny.

7.  *     When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath even as it blazes forth,     When they get thrown therein, they hear its furor as it fumes.

8.  *     Almost bursting with fury: Every time a Group is cast therein, its Keepers will ask, "Did no Warner come to you?"     It almost explodes from rage. You are totally astray.' "     قالوا بلى قد جاءنا نذير فكذبنا وقلنا مانزل الله من شئ ان انتم الا في ضلال كبير     qalwa bli qd ja'na nXyr fkXbna wqlna manzl allh mn $Y an antm ala fy Dlal kbyr

10.  *     They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!"     They also say, "If we heard or understood, we would not be among the dwellers of Hell!"

11.  *     They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire!     Thus, they confessed their sins. Woe to the dwellers of Hell.

12.  *     As for those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward.     As for those who reverence their Lord, when alone in their privacy, they have attained forgiveness and a great recompense.     ان الذين يخشون ربهم بالغيب لهم مغفرة واجر كبير     an alXyn yK$wn rbhm balGyb lhm mGfr+ wajr kbyr

To Him is the final summoning.

17.  *     Or do ye feel secure that He Who is in Heaven will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones), so that ye shall know how (terrible) was My warning?     Have you guaranteed that the One in heaven will not send upon you a violent storm? Will you then appreciate the value of My warning?     ام امنتم من في السماء ان يرسل عليكم حاصبا فستعلمون كيف نذير     am amntm mn fy alsma' an yrsl `lykm HaSba fst`lmwn kyf nXyr

19.  *     Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except ((Allah)) Most Gracious: Truly ((Allah)) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things.     Have they not seen the birds above them lined up in columns and spreading their wings? The Most Gracious is the One who holds them in the air. He is Seer of all things.

20.  *     Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides ((Allah)) Most Merciful?
