1.  *     O thou folded in garments!     O you cloaked one.     You, you the hiding/wrapped in clothes.     swr+ almzml bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? yaayha almzml
 
2.  *     Stand (to prayer) by night, but not all night,-     Meditate during the night, except rarely.     Stand the night except little.     qm allyl ala qlyla
 
3.  *     Half of it,- or a little less,     Half of it, or a little less.     Its half/middle or reduce/decrease from it little.     nSfh aw anqS mnh qlyla
 
4.  *     Or a little more; and recite the Qur'an in slow, measured rhythmic tones.     Or a little more. And read the Quran from cover to cover.     Or increase on it, and read or recite slowly, distinctly and clearly the Koran, slow distinct and clear reading or recitation.     aw zd `lyh wrtl alqran trtyla
 
5.  *     Soon shall We send down to thee a weighty Message.     We will give you a heavy message.     That We, We will throw (a) heavy saying/word/declaration on you.     ana snlqy `lyk qwla xqyla
 
6.  *     Truly the rising by night is most potent for governing (the soul), and most suitable for (framing) the Word (of Prayer and Praise).     The meditation at night is more effective, and more righteous.     That truly the night's first hours it is stronger pressure and more just (in) a saying/word/declaration.     an na$Y+ allyl hy a$d wTYa waqwm qyla
 
7.  *     True, there is for thee by day prolonged occupation with ordinary duties:     You have a lot of time during the day for other matters.     That truly for you in the daytime (is) long tending to the livelihood/sleeping and resting.     an lk fy alnhar sbHa Twyla
 
8.  *     But keep in remembrance the name of thy Lord and devote thyself to Him whole-heartedly.     You shall commemorate the name of your Lord, to come ever closer and closer to Him.     And remember/mention your Lord's name and devote your life to Him devotion of your life (to God).     waXkr asm rbk wtbtl alyh tbtyla
 
9.  *     (He is) Lord of the East and the West: there is no god but He: take Him therefore for (thy) Disposer of Affairs.     Lord of the east and the west; there is no other god beside Him. You should choose Him as your advocate.     The sun rises'/easts' and the sun set's/west's Lord, (there is) no God except Him, so take Him (as) a guardian/ally     rb alm$rq walmGrb laalh ala hw fatKXh wkyla
 
10.  *     And have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity).     And remain steadfast in the face of their utterances, and disregard them in a nice manner.     And be patient on what they say, and desert/abandon them beautiful/graceful desertion/abandonment.     waSbr `li mayqwlwn wahjrhm hjra jmyla
 
11.  *     And leave Me (alone to deal with) those in possession of the good things of life, who (yet) deny the Truth; and bear with them for a little while.     And let Me deal with the rejectors, who have been generously blessed; just give them a little time.     And leave Me and the liars/deniers/falsifiers (owners) of the blessing/goodness, and delay them (a) little.     wXrny walmkXbyn awly aln`m+ wmhlhm qlyla
 
12.  *     With Us are Fetters (to bind them), and a Fire (to burn them),     We have severe punishments, and Hell.     That truly shackles and Hell (is) at Us.     an ldyna ankala wjHyma
 
13.  *     And a Food that chokes, and a Penalty Grievous.     Food that can hardly be swallowed, and painful retribution.     And food of lumping in the throat and a painful torture.     wT`ama XaGS+ w`Xaba alyma
 
14.  *     One Day the earth and the mountains will be in violent commotion. And the mountains will be as a heap of sand poured out and flowing down.     The day will come when the earth and the mountains will quake, and the mountains will turn into a weightless pile.     A day/time the earth/Planet Earth and the mountains trembles and shakes, and the mountains were a heap of sand dumped sand or dust.     ywm trjf alarD waljbal wkant aljbal kxyba mhyla
 
15.  *     We have sent to you, (O men!) an apostle, to be a witness concerning you, even as We sent an apostle to Pharaoh.     We have sent to you a messenger, just as we sent to Pharaoh a messenger.     That We, We sent a messenger to you, a witness/testifier on you, as/like We sent a messenger to Pharaoh.     ana arslna alykm rswla $ahda `lykm kma arslna ali fr`wn rswla
 
16.  *     But Pharaoh disobeyed the apostle; so We seized him with a heavy Punishment.     Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger and, consequently, we punished him severely.     So Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger, so We punished/took him (a) severe/detrimental punishing.     f`Si fr`wn alrswl faKXnah aKXa wbyla
 
17.  *     Then how shall ye, if ye deny ((Allah)), guard yourselves against a Day that will make children hoary-headed?-     If you disbelieve, how can you evade a day so terrible that it makes the infants gray-haired?     So how (do) you fear and obey (avoid), if you disbelieved (in) a day it makes the children/new borns white or gray haired (old)?     fkyf ttqwn an kfrtm ywma yj`l alwldan $yba
 
18.  *     Whereon the sky will be cleft asunder? His Promise needs must be accomplished.     The heaven will shatter therefrom. His promise is true.     The sky/space is split/cleaved with (by) it, His promise was/is made/done.     alsma' mnfTr bh kan w`dh mf`wla
 
19.  *     Verily this is an Admonition: therefore, whoso will, let him take a (straight) path to his Lord!     This is a reminder; whoever wills, let him choose the path to his Lord.     That truly this (is) a reminder, so who wanted took/received a way/path to his Lord.     an hXh tXkr+ fmn $a' atKX ali rbh sbyla
 
20.  *     Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah.s bounty; yet others fighting in Allah.s Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah.s Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah. for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.     Your Lord knows that you meditate during two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or one-third of it, and so do some of those who believed with you. GOD has designed the night and the day, and He knows that you cannot always do this. He has pardoned you. Instead, you shall read what you can of the Quran. He knows that some of you may be ill, others may be traveling in pursuit of GOD's provisions, and others may be striving in the cause of GOD. You shall read what you can of it, and observe the contact prayers (Salat), give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and lend GOD a loan of righteousness. Whatever good you send ahead on behalf of your souls, you will find it at GOD far better and generously rewarded. And implore GOD for forgiveness. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.     That truly your Lord knows that you, you stand/call (for) prayer nearer (than) from two-thirds (of) the night and its half/middle, and its third, and a group of people from those with you, and God predestines/evaluates the night and the daytime, He knew that you (will) not count/compute it so He forgave on you, so read what eased/became flexible (what you can) from the Koran, He knew that (E) sick/diseased will be from you, and others moving (traveling) in the land/Earth wishing/desiring from God's grace/favour/blessing, and others fighting in God's way/path, so read what eased/became flexible from it (what you can), and keep up the prayers, and give/bring the charity/purification, and lend/advance God a good/ beautifulloan/advance, and what you advance/produce for yourselves from goodness/ generosity you find it at God, it is better and greater (in) a reward, and ask God for forgiveness, that truly God (is) forgiving, merciful.443     an rbk y`lm ank tqwm adni mn xlxy allyl wnSfh wxlxh wTaYf+ mn alXyn m`k wallh yqdr allyl walnhar `lm an ln tHSwh ftab `lykm faqrWwa matysr mn alqran `lm an sykwn mnkm mrDi waKrwn yDrbwn fy alarD ybtGwn mn fDl allh waKrwn yqatlwn fy sbyl allh faqrWwa  matysr mnh waqymwa alSla+ watwa alzka+ waqrDwa allh qrDa Hsna wmatqdmwa lanfskm mn Kyr tjdwh `nd allh hw Kyra wa`Zm ajra wastGfrwa allh an allh Gfwr rHym
